About
After years of working for others and experiencing burnout, I felt a strong pull to create something of my own—something that aligned with how I instinctively knew people should be cared for. My journey began in hairdressing, though it wasn’t always a positive experience, and later evolved through hospitality, where I discovered the power of connection, teamwork, and genuine care. Bringing these worlds together, I created a space that feels homely, welcoming, and grounded in intention.
At the heart of everything I do are three words: restore, balance, nurture. They guide every interaction, especially in a world that so often feels rushed. I want each person who walks through the door to slow down, feel looked after, and leave not only with hair they feel good about, but with a sense of being seen and supported.
Through conversation, a cup of tea or coffee, and a deeply personal approach, I aim to nourish both the hair and the soul. My own experiences—navigating changes in my hair through different stages of life, including frizz, greying, and hormonal shifts—have shaped my passion for helping women embrace what is naturally theirs. I specialise in supporting women to feel confident in their unique hair, including those choosing to move away from colouring and toward acceptance.
Whenever I lose focus, I return to this purpose. It’s my anchor, and it’s what makes this work so meaningful; not just for my clients, but for me as well.
Sustainability
Sustainability has always been at the heart of my life. When I started my own business, I was determined to make it as sustainable as possible. Using advanced sorting, we separate all our waste; paper, metal, plastics, and hair on-site, and through Sustainable Salons, this is further sorted by their team, many of whom have disabilities. They also donate a portion of each service to OzHarvest and Kiwi Harvest, providing meals to those in need. Every dollar counts, and every step, from repurposing waste to supporting the community, helps build a more inclusive and sustainable industry.
